Ingredients
Tacos
  • 1/2 lb of raw deveined shrimp
  • 3 tbs of canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chipotle chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 3 corn tortillas
Mango Chutney
  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1 small jalapeño
  • 3 tsp cilantro
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 of a red onion
Spicy Crema
  • 3tbs Truff hot sauce, you can use sriracha but the Truff is creamier and works best
  • 1 cup of sour cream
Instructions
Tacos:
Chop the shrimp into small pieces and coat with the paprika, chili powder, and cumin. Add the oil to a pan and put the heat on medium low. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for around 5 minutes, shrimp cook quickly. Scooch them to the side of the pan and put the tortillas in the seasoned oil, flip so both sides are warm and add the shrimp.
Chutney
Chop the jalapeño, onion, and pineapple finely and mix. Finely chop the cilantro and add it. Add the salt and mix. Squeeze the juice out of the lime and add it. Add this to the taco.
Spicy Crema
Mix the sour cream and Truff hot sauce together. I keep it in a squeezy bottle. Add to the taco and serve with lime wedges.

Just made these for lunch for my mom and I. Made 6 tacos (Just doubled the recipe) and 3 each person is definitely enough! So yummy and so easy to make. Recommend for beginning cookers and just anyone looking for simple shrimp tacos! Thanks for the recipe, Violet!

Is the pineapple supposed to be mango or is there not supposed to be any actual mango in the mango chutney?
