Ingredients
  • 1 bag of cranberries
  • 1 small nub of ginger
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
Instructions
  1. Rinse the cranberries and remove the dead ones. Put the in a pot with the water, sugar, and salt.
  2. Using a zester grate the ginger and the orange into the stockpot. Squeeze the juice of the orange into the pot.
  3. Mix it up and bring to a simmer. Let sit on low for an hour, the berries should burst and the mixture should thicken. Whisk it to burst the remaining berries and leave on the lowest setting for approximately 30 more minutes until the desired texture and serve!
  4. If it tastes bitter, add more salt! The salt combats the bitter taste.
